John Carpenter, the mastermind behind Halloween, broke the sad news to fans via Twitter. Halloween Kills, which was originally going to release October 16 of this year, will now be released in October, 2020. Carpenter claims the decision was made due to a "compromised theatrical experience." The upcoming Candyman film was again delayed by Universal Studios. Formerly set to release in September, it will now be available October 16th of this year. At least horror fans will be able to enjoy this one this year, unlike Halloween Kills.
